Photo Proof of Delivery (Photo POD) is a feature where one or multiple photos are taken upon delivery for packages that do not require a signature from the receiver (marked as Origin-Signature Not Required (O-SNR) at time of shipment preparation or where a Signature Release has been performed using our Purolator Your Way service). With Photo POD, you will have visual confirmation that your package(s) have been safely delivered to you at the intended location.

No, you are not required to enroll/sign up for this feature. Photo POD will be made available for all shipments that do not require a signature on delivery (designated as O-SNR). Note: “Receivers can further enhance their delivery experience with Purolator Your Way – enabling push notifications throughout the package journey, plus convenient delivery options & photo proof all via a quick & easy-to-use webapp.”

Photos captured at time of delivery can be accessed via Purolator’s tracking & visibility tools (including: purolator.com tracking, Purolator Your Way, and both Android & iOS versions of our mobile app. Photos are made accessible to users who have been authenticated as a party to the shipment by validating either specific account or shipment information.

Delivery photos will be stored with Purolator for up to one year after the shipment date.

Photo POD benefits receivers by providing visual confirmation of the exact location where packages are delivered, thus, providing complete peace of mind, particularly for more valuable items being delivered to shared spaces such as apartments, complexes, or buildings.

In certain cases, a photo may not be captured when we deliver a shipment, reasons may include but are not limited to: the shipment being handed directly to a customer (receiver) or third party at the destination, the lack of a safe & secure location available to leave the package, or photography being prohibited at the delivery address. In the event that your shipment did not require a signature upon delivery, but a photo was not captured, please contact our customer care team at 1-888-744-7123 and provide your PIN number for further assistance.
