Both shipping and freight are the transportation of goods either by air, land, or sea domestically or internationally. Freight and shipping are both used for the bulk transportation of goods, however, freight always refers to a larger quantity of goods. Freight is used for shipments exceeding 150 lbs. Freight is most commonly used for commercial purposes and can be more cost-effective when shipping large quantities.
