The flooding and road closures throughout British Columbia have resulted in extreme impacts to the entire supply chain and transportation industry. As this dynamic situation continues to evolve, we are doing all we can to restore full ground service into and out of B.C. and resume normal operations across our network as quickly as possible.

Shipments going to and from B.C.

  • On-time delivery guarantees for all Purolator Express® courier shipments originating from and destined to B.C. are temporarily suspended (effective Nov. 17, 2021), due to a significant volume increase in Purolator Express shipments, and are experiencing pick-up and delivery delays of two to four days.
  • Purolator Ground® service for shipments traveling westbound from central and southern Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic provinces to all of British Columbia has resumed. 
  • Purolator Ground service for shipments traveling westbound from northern Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Yukon, Northwest Territories to Lower Mainland B.C. and traveling to and from Lower Mainland B.C. to the rest of Canada remain temporarily suspended.
  • Purolator Freight® service going to, from and within British Columbia remains temporarily suspended.

Shipments within B.C.

  • Shipments traveling within the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island regions can be processed through both Purolator Ground and Purolator Express service and are experiencing pick-up and delivery delays of three to five days.  
  • Shipments traveling to and from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island regions and the B.C. Interior and Northern B.C. regions, are required to be processed through Purolator Express service, and are experiencing pick-up and delivery delays of three to five days.  
  • We are implementing earlier pickup cut-off times of 12 noon for ad hoc shipments. Customers with regular shipment pickups will be notified of any changes, which may include later pick-up times. 
  • Purolator Freight® service going to, from and within British Columbia remains temporarily suspended.

Purolator Shipping Centre and Authorized Shipping Agent service impacts 
Purolator retail and agent locations that are currently inaccessible due to road closures and damage will not be accepting customer shipment drop-offs until access to these locations resumes. Purolator will hold shipments destined to be picked up at these locations at the nearest accessible Purolator Shipping Centre or deliver them to an alternate address.
