Customer experience and innovation
Over the past year, Purolator has helped our customers adapt to the unprecedented impacts COVID-19 has had on consumers and businesses of all sizes across the globe. We are proud of the critical role we played in the transportation and delivery of essential goods to, from and throughout Canada, and we look forward to continuing this work to keep the flow of critical goods moving.
We would like to advise you of upcoming changes to the rates set out in your agreement*. Rate changes allow us to tailor our business needs, while enhancing our network and delivery options for our customers.
As Canadians and the economy transition to a new state of normalcy, Purolator is focused on the following priorities to address our customers’ evolving needs:
- Improving our network and service capabilities through new or expanded facilities, adding more routes, opening new shipment pick-up and drop-off locations, and growing our employee base.
- Providing peace of mind to our customers through more digital tools to empower customer convenience and choice and improving real-time tracking for more precise shipment visibility.
- Creating industry-specific transportation solutions and expanding our global supply chain capabilities for businesses shipping to, from and within Canada.
- Advancing our commitment to sustainability and moving closer to a “greener” fleet with the expansion of our electric vehicles in key markets.
The rate changes support these priorities and investments we are making to serve your needs, including our new $330 million, 430,000-sq-ft National Hub facility in Toronto, Ont., set to open late 2021. This National Hub will house world-class automation and support the future growth of our customers. To learn more about our new National Hub, visit purolator.com/NationalHub.
The new LTL Rate Guide will be available on the Shipping Rates, Zones & Service Guides page of purolator.com on Jan. 1, 2022.
We will continue to keep you updated on how we are investing in our business to serve you better.
