Purolator’s new advertising campaign invites customers into a world of shipping that’s out of the ordinary

Purolator Courier Ltd., Canada’s largest courier company, unveiled a national advertising campaign today that demonstrates Purolator’s unique ability to provide solutions to their customers’ out of the ordinary shipping challenges.

The campaign, developed by Publicis, is built around the theme of out of the ordinary is never out of the question and profiles unusual situations where Purolator leverages its size and reach to provide flexible and innovative solutions to its customers.

The television commercial will debut nationally today and air through late November, during high-impact shows and highly rated programs such as The Apprentice, NHL hockey, CSI, Law & Order, Téléjournal and Découverte.

Print ads will appear in various business, manufacturing, legal, automotive, logistics and accounting publications across Canada throughout the fall.

“We have learned from our customers that they want a flexible courier company that aligns with their needs, not the other way around,” said John Cooper, Purolator’s Vice President of Marketing. “This campaign demonstrates that, because we are the largest courier company in Canada, we are uniquely able to meet virtually any shipping challenge that our customers may have on any given day.”

The out of the ordinary campaign theme is designed to continue to build on the Where business is going tagline that was launched in 2004.

“In the new campaign, we seek to demonstrate that we understand the very unique distribution needs of customers, whether it’s shipping time-sensitive items in the automotive sector, unusual items in the logistics business, or your intellectual property in the legal and financial professions,” said Cooper. “The creative seeks to provide solutions to these fundamental needs but it highlights them in unexpected ways that we hope will be very impactful.”
