Purolator Tackle Hunger wins gold at the 2007 Sponsorship Marketing Awards
Program recognized with Gold award for sustained success
The Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada has honoured Purolator for a second straight year with a Sponsorship Marketing Award. Purolator Tackle Hunger was presented a Gold award for sustained success, recognizing Purolator’s continued sponsorship marketing excellence achieved through the Purolator Tackle Hunger program.
“This award demonstrates Purolator’s long-term commitment to alleviating hunger in Canada,” said Brian Meagher, Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. “The success of the Purolator Tackle Hunger program is the direct result of the dedication of our employees as well as Purolator’s strong partnerships with the Canadian Football League (CFL), each of the eight CFL teams and the Canadian Association of Food Banks.”
Since its inception, the Purolator Tackle Hunger program has generated more than 1,000,000 lbs of food for food banks across Canada.
