Purolator joins Canadians in celebrating the Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation's successful bid for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and Paralympic Winter Games.

We are thrilled to be part of the winning team that is bringing this world-class event to Canada. On behalf of our company and all of our employees, we would like to offer our heart-felt congratulations to the Bid Committee for the thousands of hours they spent putting together a thorough, persuasive and exciting proposal to the International Olympic Committee.

With the suspense of waiting for a decision now over, we'll take some time to enjoy the victory and then begin looking for ways that we can contribute to helping ensure that the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games are the best ever. As a community contributor and exclusive courier service of the Vancouver 2010 Bid, Purolator provided a financial contribution and in-kind courier services including delivery of the bid books to the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland. Purolator also promoted the Vancouver 2010 Bid on its British Columbia fleet of trucks and on select Purolator packaging products.
