Purolator's Unionised Teammates Overwhelmingly Ratify Five-year Collective Bargaining Agreement

Toronto, Dec. 9, 2011 – Purolator is pleased to announce that the five-year collective agreement negotiated with the Teamsters Union has been ratified by its membership, representing close to 10,000 of its unionised teammates across Canada.

A tentative agreement had previously been reached and was recommended unanimously by the union negotiating committee at the conclusion of contract talks on November 11. The voting on the new agreement took place electronically from December 2 through to December 8 and was ratified overwhelmingly - at 92% - by Teamsters' members working at Purolator locations throughout the country.
