Purpose
Purolator Courier Ltd. is committed to the protection and preservation of the
environment in our operations and the performance of our services. It is the
purpose of this Policy to be recognized by our customers, employees, community
and stakeholders as a responsible business committed to continual improvement
in environmental management and pollution prevention in all business activities.
To that end, we shall:

- Establish environmental purposes, objectives and procedures that manage
environmental issues as an integral part of our business decision–making
process.
- Meet or exceed applicable environmental laws, regulations, approvals and
company procedures.
- Establish an environmental management structure that will ensure compliance.
- Develop employee knowledge and understanding of environmental issues
related to employment functions.
- Promote conservation of the environment and natural resources through the
implementation of a recycling program and usage of environmentally friendly
products/chemicals.
- Ensure the safe handling, storage, transportation and disposal of dangerous
goods, waste and hazardous materials, whether generated by Purolator
Courier Ltd. or its customers.
- Perform ongoing environmental audits of our operations to identify
environmental issues and remedy deficiencies, if any.
- Communicate our Environmental Policy to all employees and make it available
to the public.
Implementation of this Environmental Policy is an important management
objective and the responsibility of all employees.
