Mr. Cheeseman is Chief Financial Officer for Canada Post Corporation having joined Canada Post in September 2007. Prior to joining Canada Post, Mr. Cheeseman was Chief Financial Officer with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool where he was responsible for the company's financial operations, risk management initiatives and corporate information technology. He also spent 14 years with Molson Breweries where he held such important roles as Vice-President, Finance Ontario/West; Vice-President, Strategic and Business Planning; and Vice President, Finance (Controller). He also held various financial executive roles with Carling O'Keefe Breweries and the Auditor General's Department, Government of Newfoundland. He holds the designation of Chartered Accountant and also received Honours Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration degrees from Memorial University, Newfoundland. After graduating, he went to work with the accounting firm Peat, Marwick and Mitchell.
