TORONTO (Aug. 10, 2012) – Purolator is pleased to announce that its freight facility, previously located at 667 Barnes Road, Enfield, Nova Scotia (NS) is now located at 220 Joseph Zatzman Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (NS).
The new 7,300 square foot facility in Burnside Park, NS, will help Purolator meet the rapid business growth in the region and cater to increasing freight volume.
“This move was necessary to keep pace with the current demand we are experiencing with our premium Less-than-truckload (LTL) service. It also allows us to continuously enhance service to our valued customers in Dartmouth and Halifax,” says Jim MacIntosh, Vice President, Field Operations.
With closer proximity to its customers, Purolator estimates it will reduce drive time by up to 20 per cent, which ultimately results in lower fuel consumption and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
