Shipping

With ESS, you can ship using multiple Purolator accounts, streamline Group and Batch shipping, create future-dated and ship-to-hold shipments, send and receive e-mail notifications with the “Proactive Notification” feature, print shipping labels and customs documentation, print and sort labels to match their respective packages using Group shipping, import address lists as well as customer and product databases, easily access the Cost Centre and Reference information from your database, choose from pre-paid, collect or third-party billing, create return labels and shipping documents, ship using Purolator’s delivery and specialized services including Purolator Freight^®, create your own default service preference for all your shipments, and more.

Tracking
ESS tracks shipments in real time. You can create your own shipment tracking codes based on your order and invoice numbers, send e-mail notifications with the “Proactive Notification“ feature and provide a tracking number / PIN to your customers.

Reporting
You can create a variety of custom reports to assist you with cost analysis, future planning and more.

Getting started

ESS comes with complimentary software and powerful hardware, including a PC, flat panel monitor, keyboard, thermal printer and electronic scale. We then provide you with the support you need to integrate ESS with your existing systems, and to help maximize the time and cost advantages you can achieve with ESS.

To start shipping freight through your ESS system, please set up your Purolator Freight account  by contacting your Account Executive or calling 1 888 SHIP-123 and selecting option 6 to be transferred directly to Purolator Freight.
