What is an Authorized Shipping Agent?

Purolator Shipping Agents are ‘local’ retail businesses that act as an extension of Purolator Courier Ltd. Shipping Agents provide customers with accessibility to Purolator’s national shipping network by accepting inbound and outbound shipments and by providing pricing and transit time information. By offering these services, Shipping Agents can expect increased revenues, more store traffic, greater exposure and added value for customers.

Proper business fit is an important consideration in Purolator’s Shipping Agent selection process. Typically, Shipping Agents operate businesses that are complimentary to Purolator, for example; stationers, copy shops or retailers that offer other business services. As Purolator representatives, Shipping Agents are provided with free illuminated signage, a government approved electronic weigh scale, training manual, a unique store code, various supplies, personal shipping discount and a bi-monthly newsletter to keep Shipping Agents informed of any changes or upcoming events.
